Laws can also\nbe called rules. We also have laws in our schools, home because without laws\npeople will keep doing the wrong things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reasons for the Laws<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nfollowing are reasons for following the laws:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>To promote peace.<\/li><li>To guide us to know what we should\ndo and what we should not do.<\/li><li>To avoid quarrels.<\/li><li>To help us maintain order in doing\nthings.<\/li><li>To check our behaviour.<\/li><li>To treat every body without\ndiscrimination.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Purposes of the law<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>To make the relationship between God\nand us to be strong.<\/li><li>To know what he don\u2019t want.<\/li><li>So that we will not sin against him.<\/li><li>To lead us aright.<\/li><li>To obey him.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Ten Commandments<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through Moses God gave the people of\nIsrael the ten commandment to the children of Israel to journey through the wilderness\nto the Promised Land (Canaan).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ten commandment are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>You must not have other gods before\nme.<\/li><li>You must not have a carved image for\nyourself or the likeness of anything in heavens above or on the earth below or\nin the water<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prayers: <\/strong>My Lord\nand My God, your commandments and receive your salvation in Jesus name. Amen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PRESENTATION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The Teacher revises the previous term lessons (<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/enoteprime.com\/god-gives-his-law-to-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"God gives his law to us (opens in a new tab)\">God gives his law to us<\/a><\/strong>)<\/li><li>Teacher leads the pupils to understand the Ten Commandments.<\/li><li>.
