{"id":2991,"date":"2020-06-17T04:24:44","date_gmt":"2020-06-17T04:24:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/enoteprime.com\/?p=2991"},"modified":"2020-06-17T04:24:44","modified_gmt":"2020-06-17T04:24:44","slug":"2020-jamb-cut-off-mark-for-university-is-160-po","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/enoteprime.com\/2020-jamb-cut-off-mark-for-university-is-160-po\/","title":{"rendered":"2020 Jamb Cut off Mark for University is 160 while polytechnic is 120"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On the 16th of June, 2020, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (Jamb) admonished institutions that the maximum amount to be charged for screening is two thousand naira (N2,000) and that the cut-off marks of 2020\/2021 admission are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\"><li>For universities, the cut-off score is a hundred and sixty (160).<\/li><li>For polytechnics, the cut \u2013off mark is One hundred and twenty (120).<\/li><li>For the college of education and innovative institutions cut \u2013off mark is one hundred (100).<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the representative of JAMB, said the cut-off mark arrived&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>after academies have presented their cut-off points. He said more than one hundred institutions presented two hundred (200) and above as cut-off marks, some presented 180 and above, even as a bit presented a hundred and sixty (160) and above.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to JAMB 612,557 applicants had been supplied admission in 2019 even as about 510,957 admission spaces were now not used by tertiary institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Registrar and chief executive of JAMB, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, said these in his speech that was read during the 2020 policy assembly about the admission for the 2020\/2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Emeka Nwajiuba, the minister of education, said that JAMB and tertiary establishments could take gain of the modern-day situation and don&#8217;t forget candidates with SSCE and different qualifying results of preceding years to proceed with 2020\/2021 admission system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nwajiuba additionally indexed conditions to
