{"id":2048,"date":"2019-01-12T10:16:03","date_gmt":"2019-01-12T10:16:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/enoteprime.com\/?p=2048"},"modified":"2019-01-12T10:16:03","modified_gmt":"2019-01-12T10:16:03","slug":"ferguson-msc-scholarships-for-africa-and-south-america-at-aston-university-in-uk-2019-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/enoteprime.com\/ferguson-msc-scholarships-for-africa-and-south-america-at-aston-university-in-uk-2019-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"Ferguson MSc Scholarships for Africa and South America at Aston University in UK, 2019-2020"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The School of Life &amp; Health Sciences at Aston University is happy\n to announce Ferguson scholarships to students from&nbsp;Africa and South \nAmerica for the 2019\/20 academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><p>Aston University is a long&nbsp;established research-led&nbsp;University known \nfor its world-class teaching quality and strong links to industry, \ngovernment and commerce.<\/p><!--more--><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For applicants from non-English speaking countries, it is <g class=\"gr_ gr_4 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Style multiReplace\" id=\"4\" data-gr-id=\"4\">necessary  to<\/g> have taken either the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL  score of 101) or the British Council IELTS test- score of 6.5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Scholarship&nbsp;Description<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Applications Deadline:&nbsp;<\/strong>March 31, 2019<\/li><li><strong>Course Level: <\/strong>Scholarships are available to pursue Postgraduate taught programs.<\/li><li><strong>Study Subject:<\/strong> Ferguson scholarships are available to students applying to on campus postgraduate taught programmes including:<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>MSc Cognitive Neuroscience<\/li><li>MSc Drug Delivery<\/li><li>MSc Pharmaceutical Sciences<\/li><li>MSc Pharmacokinetics<\/li><li>MSc Stem Cells &amp; Regenerative Medicine.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Scholarship&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Award:<\/strong> If successful, you will&nbsp;have to contribute approximately \u00a33,500 towards your MSc tuition fees.<\/li><li><strong>Nationality: <\/strong>Scholarships are available for students from African or South American country.<\/li><li><strong>Number of&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Scholarships<\/strong><strong>: <\/strong>Nine scholarships are available.<\/li><li><strong>Scholarship&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>can be taken in <\/strong>the UK<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility for the&nbsp;Scholarship<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligible Countries:&nbsp;<\/strong>Scholarships are available for students from African or South American country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Entrance Requirements: Applicants must meet the following criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Hold a conditional or unconditional offer for one of the above courses<\/li><li>Be a national from an African or South American country<\/li><li>Hold a 2:1 degree or equivalent in a relevant subject for the course you are applying for<\/li><li>Be a self-funded student<\/li><li>Provide a strong personal&nbsp;statement when submitting your course application.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>English Language Requirements:&nbsp;<\/strong>Non-native speakers of English are normally required to satisfy the following minimum English language requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>TOEFL IBT: 93 (23 in Writing, 19 in Speaking, 18 in Reading and 19 in Listening)<\/li><li>IELTS:&nbsp; &nbsp;6.5 (6.0 in Writing Speaking, Reading and Listening).<\/li><li>Pearsons English language test: 63 with no less than 57 in each band.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Your test must have been taken no more than two years before the start date of your course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For applicants from non-English speaking countries, it is necessary to have taken either the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)  or the British Council IELTS test. However, if the Candidate holds a  Bachelor or Master\u2019s degree from a UK University, this requirement may be waived.
